Biarritz Dress - Corallo Rosa

I really wanted to love this dress—it has such a unique and pretty design, and the colour is absolutely stunning. The fabric feels like cotton poplin, so it’s really airy and lightweight, and the skirt length is perfect. But unfortunately, the fit just didn’t work for me. The straps are too short for anyone without a smaller frame. I’m a true size M with muscular shoulders, and the straps pulled the neckline up way too high, making the bust area feel crushed. I tried adjusting it, but the fabric doesn't have any give, so it was still tight.

Sizing up wasn’t an option (it was sold out), but even if it wasn’t, it would’ve been too big around the waist since this size was a comfy fit everywhere else. I’ll probably get it altered to make it work, but adjustable straps could’ve fixed the issue by letting the neckline sit lower.

One small detail worth mentioning—when I unpacked it, there were loose threads all over the dress, and some invisible elastic threads in the cut-out details were already fraying, which was a little disappointing.

I adore the overall design and really wanted this one to be perfect, but sadly, it just didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
