Everley Dress

I really wanted to love this dress because it looks great in photos, but the fit is a total disaster.

Proportions: I ordered my usual size based on the guide, but the top is massive and completely unflattering. It fits like a shapeless tent, and the "tie" detail is so stiffly sewn in that no matter how much you try to scrunch it, it adds zero shape. I don't know if the Sizing is too small or too large as it is just so badly designed.

Length: This is "too short" taken to the extreme. I am 169cm (a very regular height), and it was so short my boyfriend actually asked if it was a top. I can’t even size down to fix the baggy top because then it wouldn't even cover the basics and mind you, I have a long torso and not to long legs and still they look so short on me.

Comfort: The fabric is very scratchy and uncomfortable against the skin.

It’s a shame because the aesthetic is nice, but between the odd sizing and the lack of length, it's just not functional as a dress. Would not recommend.
